A seulement deux heures de Paris via l’A6 ou la nationale pour ceux qui préfèrent prendre le temps de la découverte des nombreux châteaux et vignobles qui bordent la route jusqu’en Puisaye Forterre (pays de Colette) l’heureux voyageur arrivera à Taingy.

Après avoir contourné l’église Saint Matin (Portail gothique flamboyant du XVème siècle) vous emprunterez un chemin pierreux joliment encerclé d’un tunnel de verdure qui vous conduira au Manoir de la Croix de Saint Louis où vos hôtes auront la joie de vous accueillir.

Notre maison d’Hôtes construite en 1830 sur l’emplacement d’un ancien couvent (Couvent de la Croix Saint Louis) porte l’histoire d’une famille de la bourgeoisie française qui depuis le règne de Charles X participe au rayonnement de la vie locale. Des écrivains, artistes et politiques ont souvent séjourné dans ce lieu chargé d’histoire.
